I have the Extreme4 z370 and z390

I have that as well under OC and saved a profile, but I think that is just for OC.
That gets wiped out as well though.

IF my memory is sill in there , I have the option to save to disk. If this is limited to the bios version ? can it be ported to the next version? IDK

I'll be doing the same thing with my Fatal1ty MB. I'm worried that dropping from 16x to 8x will impact the performance of my 1080 ti. Can you share your results plz? What expansion card do you have?

Intel Motherboards : B360 Pro4 - BIOS Update without cpu

Hey guys,

got a little problem here and was wondering if theres a "work-around".
Bought an i5-9600k an a B360 Pro4. As the Motherboard is compatible with 9th Gen Intel cpus.

Problem:
It´s not without the BIOS Update. Shame on me but even though i checked the reseller & asrock site, i didn´t notice that i need BIOS Ver. 3.10 for 9th gen to work.
As far as i can tell from the Motherboard right now, it has Ver. 1.30 on it according to the label.

PC won´t POST so i have no chance to enter der BIOS and boot the machine from USB for BIOS Update.

Any suggestions?

BR
Charly

It happens with both AMD and Intel product. Look at the QVL list and pick up the cheapest processor. Update the bios with it, then install the 9600k. Or borrow a processor, that will run on the board, from a friend.

Intel Motherboards : Z370 Pro4 - Odd POST Situation

Hello,

I have a Z370 Pro4. Great board and rock solid. As far as I can tell, there is nothing functionally wrong with my board except for one small thing. My boot drive is a 256GB NVME, but I am also using the onboard RAID controller to run two 850 Evos in RAID0 as a game storage volume. After turning on the onboard RAID, every time my machine POSTs, it will start booting, then fully cut off. Then POST again and everything is fine and it boots up without issue. Does anyone else have this happen with this board? It is consistent and happens with every boot every day. It has followed through every BIOS update all the way up to the most recent version released on Christmas day.

on the Phantom gaming 9 motherboard it has the 2.5GBE realtek network adapter but it only connects/negotiates to 100mb. I have the current Motherboard bios updates and the current network driver for the adapter.

Facts
IT is not any hardware within my network. I am hard connected straight to my windstream gigabit fiber connection. no routers or switches and can attain gigabit speeds with the other intel controllers.

IT is not a cable issue. the same cable runs gigabit speeds just fine on the other intel adapters on the motherboard.

I contacted your support page over a week ago and have got no response... Great customer service!

win10x64 professional
9700k processor
Windstream kinectic gigabit internet
16gb ram

I forgot to add I tried forcing the settings of the adapter to negotiaite 1000 and the 2.5gb and it still only connects 100mb.

Try checking the memory, it's free to do. Check with sticks in A2 and B2. Remove 1 if errors are found

So I've been blessed/cursed with an i7-8086k from the Intel sweepstakes but I don't have a motherboard/cooler/RAM/power supply/hard drive/case to use it with. What motherboard should I use with this thing? Also, is it worth waiting a few weeks for Z390 motherboards to come out?

Hello, it seems I have a similar problem. Did you solve the problem ? I even ordered a bios chip with the latest version but the boot procedure freezes with "62" error code. It seems to be some kind of Intel ME problem.

Yes, it shows the fans on the 'System Info' tab but only shows 2x CPU and 4x Chassis fans on the 'FAN-Tastic Tuning' tab.

Intel Motherboards : New build - not powering up

Z390 Taichi Ultimate Motherboard
i9-9900k cpu
Corsair H100i cooler
TridentZ DDR4-4000 memory (4 sticks 8gig - model on supported list)
OCZ 900w power supply

HELP!

Just swapped swapped out a working i7-4790 MB/CPU/RAM with the setup above and nothing will post or power on. I see NO numbers on the debug display. The only thing I see the the bright white light in the center of the board going on and off. Yes, the video card (1080TI) is connected and powered.

I have tried the following...
1 stick of ram only in slot A1
unplugged all sata connectors
re-seated the CPU
all fans includeing CPU are connected to power
Yes - 4/8 pin cpu power cable from the PSU is connected to the MB.

Really at my wits end and need some help. Anyone have any ideas or need more information from me first?

Please help,
Tony
