Hey guys I unfortunately bought the ASROCK H410M-HDV because it was $5 cheaper than the ASROCK H410M-HDV/M.2 I wrongly assumed the MBs were exactly the same besides one not having an m.2 slot since they have the same name and at a quick glance look exactly the same besides the missing m.2. I made sure that the first board had enough fan headers, I assumed the non m.2 one would as well. The non m.2 version of the board only has 2 Fan cables. Fortunately though one of them is 2amps which I guess gives me some head room for extra fans. So, my question is which splitter should I get that wont blow up my pc it makes me nervous reading the 1 star reviews also googling around and getting a lot of conflicting information on this subject.Anyways thanks in advance to anyone that helps! :)

Hello,

I've been having a problem for a while now that I can't seem to solve. Frequently throughout the day, my Ethernet connection on my PC will drop, forcing me out of MP games and such, or causing whatever else on chrome to stop for a few seconds. The network connection will come back up after a few seconds, but it's enough to disrupt me in games like Destiny 2 that require a constant connection.

I have my BIOS updated, LAN and WLAN drivers up to date, disabled power mgmt on both drivers, installed an 2 month older version of the LAN driver. I have also swapped out Ethernet cables multiple times, and have upgraded my router twice since the issue began(unrelated, moved houses and such), so it shouldn't be the actual network. Every so often, it won't happen for a while, then picks back up to once every hour or so.

Not really sure what else to try, save for a reset on Windows, which I would prefer to stay away from unless absolutely necessary. I hope someone has got something else that I can try.

It gets a bit confusing in the BIOS setup for the X79 Extreme6 and I need to load the BIOS defaaults after the F2.

I am wearing my glasses however I cannot find this option.

Can someone help please and tell me where it is ?

I have exactly the same problem on Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite.
Wrote to Gigabyte support pointing to this thread and this one:

For now I didn't get any satisfactory answer.
I suggest you guys do the same and open support cases with the manufacturer, maybe then they "hear" us.

ozgrunt I'll try your suggestion though my computer already never goes to sleep.

I am looking to buy a z490m extreme4 motherboard but before i do, does anyone know if i can install windows 10 pro and boot on a raid 1 partion built on m.2 nvme drives?

if yes, does anyone have the steps?

Hello everyone, i found on https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z270%20Extreme4/index.pl.asp#Storage
that my motherboard supports Seagate drive with PCIe4 x4 interface.

However my motherboard Asrock Z270 Extreme4 has M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 what we can read from official user's manual.

My question: does my motherboard can achieve full speed of 5000 MB/s Read from avaiable in Seagate FireCuda 520 SSD or information from the website means that it will work, but with bottleneck of 3rd generation speed that oscillates about 3500 MB/s read?

Maby there is a mistake, and there should be information for PCIe3 x4 interface in that place. Seagate has Gen 3 FireCuda drive so maby it's only transposed digits.

Hello there,
there is no motherboard named "z490m extreme4" i suppose you mean "Z490 Extreme4", if so you got there 2 Ultra M.2 (PCIe Gen3 x4 & SATA3), so you can install two identical M.2 drives which is needed for RAID 1.

Here is official RAID Installation Guide from Asrock attached to this motherboard :

Hello !
I need your help guys.

I just installed the corsairs commander Pro and fanhub with 3 RGB fans.
But somehow I cant control the fans and read that the Problem is that the mainboard is still controling the fans.
I found no way to turn them off in the BIOS.
I already tried to set the Fan to DC mode but nothing seems to set them offline nor controlable by the corsair software.
Im using the Z370 Fatality Gaming K6.

Is there any possible way to set static individual colours?

I have a fan ARGB controller that came with the fans in that does but unfortunately I can't connect my ARGB strips.

There is a rainbow setting but it cycles, I don't want a flaming disco.

I have a Z390 Phantom gaming 9. I see "addressable led number" but all it does is turn individual LEDs off.

I have a similar issue with my B550 Steel Legend.

The connection stops every then and now, without any noticable errors whatsoever. I have to reset my Ethernet, or unplug and replug my ethernet cable. Otherwise i can sit for hours and wait for it to work - which won't happen, because I have to reset it manually. This is so annoying and frustrating when watching videos or downloading large updates.

I did disable the power management stuff on my ethernet settings.
Never had this kind of issue with my B350 board from MSI.

I tried LAN driver 10039_03232020 from the Asrock page and 10.043 from Realtek page. No difference at all. It's all the same.

Please fix this issue.

Hey folks!

I build my Windows 10 Pro pc on the H87M-ITX a number of years ago, when the mobo was still fairly new.

Yesterday I refreshed my Windows, which is a complete deletion of *everything* and starting again from scratch.

At the [URL=https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H87M-ITX/#Download]downloads page[/URL] for the mobo there are a dozen programs. After installing the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver I realized that I probably don't need all dozen programs.

What programs are necessary, and which aren't? Is there a page somewhere that shows a simple chart or bullet list on what each one does, and when it would be necessary?

Also, just for the sake of asking, my H87M-ITX has BIOS ver P1.10. Should that be updated?
