HI , sorry I was slow to reply.
The memory was : CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300) Desktop Memory Model CMK32GX4M2A2666C16R.
Which were not on the compatible list unfortunately.

I replaced them with :Kingston Memory KVR26N19S8/8 ,which were on your list, and it now runs fine

I have the Taichi mobo. Love it. Using Windows 10 Prof 64 bit.

For some strange reason I could not get into my bios.
So I did the reset/clear of the cmos.

Got into my bios after a few reboots, but I cannot see a usb drive to use.
All usb related settings are enabled.

Also I cannot see one of my ssd's, and it is formatted.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dear Dakooga,

Thanks for posting your query to the ASRock forum.

We have checked with the following configuration:
-Win10 2004 (Build 19041.329)(Latest updates)
-Realtek Lan driver ver:10038_12202019

Kindly try with the Realtek LAN driver ver.10039_05252020 that can be downloaded from the link below:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vWsMVxfnaYIZmiFd77vxJMCJW579wUpQ/view?usp=sharing

If the problem persists, will it happen while watching the youtube? How often will the LAN be disconnected?

With thanks,
ASRock TSD

Yes, That's what I thought too. After removal of the paste, I discovered that the old CPU was an 15-7400, thus both CPU's are Kaby Lake.

I found 100-series-motherboards-and-kaby-lake post and realized that the not POST-ing is because my BIOS is not compatible.
I've now created a tech-support case for a new BIOS chip as I'm unable to flash the BIOS myself with the given CPU's.

I'll let you know once the new BIOS arrives.

Hello, I built my computer over a year ago and it has been working fine until today. The USB keyboard lights up and the network lights on the back panel light up but it won't boot at all, not even the power supply fan spins. I tried a spare psu and it does the same thing. And I even tried swapping the reset switch with the power switch to see if the switch went bad and that did nothing. Is there any other test I can do? Thanks

Hi there,

I seem to have the same problem. Also a build that has been functioning quite well the last couple of years but I was dumb enough to poke around in the IPMI settings firmware update. (Cancelled it though) was left locked out in the IPMI settings.

Tried to clear bios CMOS (battery out) but no joy. Did see message that BMC was counting down but then it is stuck at system initializing.

Would love to hear if you were able to fix it.

Thank you for your reply.
For poweroff I mean power cord disconnected.
So your board has the same behaviour as mine, it seems something by design.
I've to correct my first post. When board shutdowns, it happens just before the beep.
I performed a test with a PicoPSU, but I got the same result as with ATX psu.

Intel Motherboards : Would using a TPM Module strengthen Secure Boot?

Subject: Would using a TPM Module strengthen Secure Boot?
Posted: 12 Jul 2020 at 6:56pm

Hi,

I'm planning to buy an Intel socket ASRock H310CM-HDV motherboard soon to assemble my new home PC and so I would appreciate it if someone could answer this question for me because if the answer is yes then I will defiantly want to buy a compatible ASRock TPM module as well (is this motherboard compatible with the ASRock TPM 2.0 module?) having had malware problems on one of my past PCs despite using security software and being cautious about what I executed on it.

I've read that although Secure Boot does not require a PC to have a TPM in order to function its recommended that a TPM be used to strengthen it, with TPMs being the safest place to store cryptographic keys.

So if I used a TPM module with this motherboard would its firmware have been implemented to take advantage of detecting the presence of a TPM module by using it to strengthen Secure Boot such as by storing its keys in the TPM instead of wherever else they would be stored if no TPM was available to store them in?

Hello

My pcie x1 card does not work on any pcie x1 slot on the motherboard, but fine works on both pcie x16 slots

How can I fix this?

The motherboard is S-1151 H370 ASROCK Fatal1ty

Both PCIe x16 slots should be used by graphics and PCIe x4 capture card.

All PCIe x1 slots are empty, I need only one of them for my card
There is also M2 SSD installed

I will appreciate your support

Hi guys, can anyone tell me if this slot supports NVME drives? It says it does in the manual and I've put both a Western Digital Black and Intel 660P NVME drives in this slot neither one have been detected.

Any thoughts, Ideas or Bios settings that need to happen?

I also forgot to add, I put the drives into the other slot next to the CPU, and both drives work there. It seems that I was given a board that has a bad M2 slot.

Dear Seanp2500,

Thanks for the reply.

Please check if the memory modules are the same version as CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18 ver3.31.

We would recommend using the same version.
If the version is not the same, it will also affect how the memory modules work with the system.

With thanks,
