Dear RedFish,

Thank you for choosing ASRock and contacting us.

Regarding your case, we have test with ASRock VEGA 56 and AMD VEGA 56.
Both cards works fine with Z390 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ac.

Thank you!

Hi Parsec

I have X570 Steel Legend

https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/X570%20Steel%20Legend/

In BIOS/UEFI menu I have option "disable power led on S5" but not working good. On both switches (disable and enabled) on suspend (linux command pm-suspend) where computer go to sleep (with enabled WOL because computer work as NAS) power led is blinking.

In night is frustrating.

Can Asrock fix it?

Can't edit

BWT - disable "power on on keybord " not working in suspend mode. Every toutch keyboard wake up the computer.

Have UEFI 1.6, newest is 1.92 but change log not say about this two issues however tommorow will upgrade BIOS and check.

Hello,

i checked in on Asrock forums to seek some help with new parts that i got today.

I bought:
Steel Legend Z390 (updated to 1.20 UEFI)
16GB Patriot Viper Steel DDR4-4400 DIMM CL19-19-19-39 Dual Kit
i5 9600K

Everything seems to be working, but i cant get the memory over 1066Mhz.
the XMP Profiles and the hardware description promises 2200Mhz (pc4400).

Loading time on start is pretty long too.. and i get a screen of a faulty bootup which skips after 10 secs and its loading windows afterwards without error.
so the uefi event log says on every bootup "memory size different"..
i switched the modules in the slots i every possible way.. nothing helped.. even single channel with 1 module doesnt help..
should i return the RAM? most likely incompatible to asrock then?

thanks in advance for any reply.

You did not provide the exact model of the ram. Look for it on the QVL. If it is not listed, return it then get ram that is listed on the QVL.

When I ask support I want to get answer or advice but not f...cking excuse like " .. in our tech labs all works fine".
I spent money, bought Z370 Fatality itx/ac, bought Z390 Phantom-gaming itx/ac, and bought Vega 56 by Asrock. I wasted time, and money. I can't understand why when I buy a hi-end product ASRock leaves me alone without support when I need it.

All my hardware works fine on other motherboards: MSI z390 Tomohawk, Asus Strix z370 i-gaming, Gigabyte Z390 I AORUS PRO with any AMD VEGA BUT.... not working properly on AsROCK. I can make few screens like u did for showing that Vega and my config initialize on Windows in AIDA or CPUID, but it just screens.

Dear Johntorsteen,

Thank you for contacting ASRock.

Regarding your question, please follow the step to rewrite 1394 GUID.
1.     Please check the 1394 label in your motherboard and write it down. The 1394 GUID looks like 00138F00XXXXXXXX.
2.     Download the file "1394.zip" from the following link.
https://mega.nz/#!T5ZyzIKa!hSEqvUwsbu_crW6EWWpfOl_RK_FWU3EHJ8vwQkcBwY4
3.     Unzip and save it to a bootable USB flash.
4.     Reboot your system and boot into the USB flash with Hotkey <F11> during POST.
5.     Run the 1394 program and key in "fwguid c XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" then press enter. System will re-flash the 1394 automatically.

Thank you!
Yours truly,
ASRock TSD

Intel Motherboards : Z370 Not recognizing ssd as boot device

Original config that would boot

Current config in the photo, running z370 taichi.

I noticed that i mistakenly placed the 2tb drive in the A1 slot rather than sata3_4.

I wiped the 2tb, reconfigured for mbr, replaced a1 w sata3_4 and on next boot I lost my 500 and 2tb ssd's as boot options (in 3_0 and 3_4 respectively).

I tried swapping 3_0 with 3_2 to make the ssd visible, but the mobo still wouldn't recognize it as a boot device.

I've reseated my ram, checked that csm is enabled, not sure where else to go.

I can mash f11 and select my 500gb ssd as a boot device, but can't set the ssd as the default boot option

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Intel Motherboards : RAID1 Asrock Z390 Extreme4 Setup

Z390 extreme 4 w/ i5 8400 3.6g 2x16 ram. Setup RAID1 with two Samsung 850EVO 500Gb SATA drives installed in a generic dual tray hot swap enclosure. A lot of trouble getting the volume built and the drivers loaded as I wasn't familiar with the Asrock MB and trouble following the limited instructions. Settings I chose were the Asrock UEFI RAID install as opposed to the Intel option and chose Intel RST. Worked but had some problems. After 3 months I pulled I hard drive and the PC froze and rebooted into bios. RAID configuration disabled and would not reset leaving the volume damaged.

Starting over. Wiped the drives and trying to figure out what went wrong. I reset the BIOS and it went back to 1.8 even tho the website says 4.10 cannot be backed out. Also originally used sata ports 3_2 and 3_3 because they don't have shared lanes. But just found in the manual to install boot SSDs on 3_0. Does that mean 3_0 and 3_1 even tho they share with M2 slot? Should I try to Update BIOS before setting the raid configuration and building the volume. Also any information on loading the drivers would be helpful. Using onboard graphics of the processor and MB.

Thanks for the help!
