Yes you can use the 8700 turbo mode on a H370 and you do not have to flash the BIOS as both boards support i7-8700 series cpu from the first BIOS release. Which Z370 and which H370 are you looking at ?
I have the Z370 Pro4 but choose it specifically so I can run Windows 7 if I choose, the Z370 is the last chipset that has true Win7 driver support.

Have you tried using the Intel Gigabit LAN on either board ? Just to see if there is an issue not related to the Realtek dragon rtl8125 2.5Gb LAN.
You should hit speeds in the 125MB range if they work ok and there is not another issue slowing everything down. Just a thought.

Typical gigabit transfer speeds are between 113 - 117 MB/s sustained in either direction.

Hi!
Is anybody can suggest model of ASRock motherboard (with chipsets for 9-th generation iCore), which has option in BIOS like "HDD password" or "ATA password"?

I intended to buy Intel 720P Series SSD, which has hardware AES encryption. But for using this I need a support from motherboard.

Yes, this is the motherboard
https://www.asrockind.com/overview.asp?Model=IMB-184

Left again overnight without battery and clear cmos jumper 2-3, after power on it still asking for password to enter BIOS setup.

May be reflashing BIOS would solve it. Can't find BIOS bin file online.

The same issue here, using USB boot is impossible because it completely hangs and requires physical assistance (change USB ports place). This is reported for more than a year already, nobody fixes this...

After finally getting an RMA from Ibuypower, and tons of "it does not exist" from everyone, including Ibuypower, I received a user manual and a driver cd for my B360M lB-R1 motherboard!!! How could that be? I could care less...I HAVE IT.

Just found the updated BIOS to download.

Download the windows executable installer to a second pen-drive, installed using the mini-windows from Hiren boot on a USB port.

Once run the executable, it asked to reboot (reset), and immediately it started the new version of BIOS installation.

It took from 2 to 3 minutes to complete.

Reboot and voilá... BIOS setup available upon DEL key... no more password required.

Here the BIOS files for download for the IMB-184 motherboard:

As I told you here (and Xaltar mentioned above): http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=11511&KW=&title=b360m-1br1-motherboard
your board is an OEM board. Asrock cannot support any OEM products therefore the tech support claimed it did not exist because technically it was not an Asrock board after IB bought it and changed the BIOS to their own version and renamed the board. Sorry if you did not understand that.

Just an update on this. I think I have found the cause of the issue.

Along with the on-board video of the MB, I had also installed a Nvidia GeForce GT 1030, but since I wanted to still be able to use the hardware video encoding available on the i7 8700K I left the on-board display adapter enabled in the bios. I also set the on-board as the primary display adapter due to my multi monitor and TV setup (as the PC acts as a HTPC). Since display adapters tend to be a source of many issues on systems, I decided to start messing about with that configuration. What I have found is setting the primary display adapter to PCI-E and not the on-board seems to have resolved my resume from sleep issue. Evidently when the system wakes from sleep the system seems to get confused as to which display adapter to use and "sh*ts the bed" so to speak.

It's been stable for a good few days now, so I'm fairly confident that the issue is resolved (fingers crossed).

Spoke too soon. POS is acting up again. I really can't get to the bottom of this at all. How can a machine attempt to resume from sleep sound like it is resuming, but nothing happens but a black screen and no event log error information!!! Image may be NSFW.

ASRock told me it was their board way back when...said it was a OEM board...told me to use the drivers for the B360m ITX-OC, which do not match up to my machine...the board is clearly stamped ASRock...the new driver dvd that Ibuypower sent is stamped ASRock and has a part number and serial number

My solution: After all the sleep issues I have seen over the years with all the pc brands, I do NOT use sleep. I use shut down at a certain hour and it restarts at a set time.
