It seems I was unable to get previous BSOD logs but I could grab this. I don't recall this BSOD during this time it must have happened after I started my computer and left.

This is the System/Application Logs, I personally think I didn't find anything out of the ordinary but I've posted them here just to be sure.

Intel Motherboards : ASRock 775Dual-VSTA & SSD - in BIOS not detected

Subject: ASRock 775Dual-VSTA & SSD - in BIOS not detected

I've got a 775Twins HDTV motherboard & I had a similar problem insomuch as the BIOS saw the Crucial SSD card (which was recommended by Crucial), the SATA Controller showed in Device Manager but the drive didn't show in either Device Manager or Disk Management.
The SSD card was recognised when I put it in a USB enclosure so not an SSD card issue.
Eventually I changed the BIOS setting for- Advanced - IDE Configuration - ATA Combination Mode - from Disabled to Enabled.
The PC then dual-booted up from the SSD card into both Windows 7 & Windows 10.
However, with ATA Combination Mode = Enabled, the PC will only support one SATA device so I can only have the Crucial SSD card & no other SATA devices.
The IDE secondary channel still works & the CD drive shows up.
With the ATA Combination Mode = Disabled, the PC will start to boot up from the SSD so it's not an MBR issue) but then hangs for a few seconds & then restarts the PC.
P.S. Non-raid is the recommended BIOS setting although mine worked on both.

Subject: Self Encrypting Drives (SED) Support?
Posted: 04 Jun 2019 at 1:21am

Hi there, I've sent a request off to Asrock but nothing back so far so I thought I would try the forum.

I want to encrypt our PC's fully but in a simple way and with minimal performance impact.

We leverage Ubuntu but I can't see if Asrock motherboards/bios support the use of Self Encrypting Drives with the associated Authentication Key (AK).

If anyone has any insights please let me know. We use a number of difference boards and I want to ensure I order new ones that can do this?

E.g. Z390 Phantom Gaming 9

Thanks

Hass

Dear Anpanmant,

Thank you for choosing ASRock.

Z390 Phantom Gaming ITX/ac has three LED at the back of the motherboard.
Please refer to ASRock website.
https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z390%20Phantom%20Gaming-ITXac/index.asp
The LED can be turned off by ASRock Polychrome RGB Utility.
Download link:
http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/Utility/RGB/PolychromeRGB(v1.0.42).zip

Also, if you only want to turn off the LED at system shutdown, please disable BIOS [Turn On LED in S5] option.
BIOS Path: Advanced > Chipset Configuration > Turn On LED in S5

Thank you!
Yours truly,
ASRock TSD

So we can do nothing but modifying the BIOS manually and give a class action to Microsoft.

I am running a 6800k OC's at 4.0 MHz after removing Windows 10 KB4100347.

My X99 Taichi currently has BIOS vs 1.5 on it. I am not clear on the role of BIOS vs 1.8 with regards to Haswell E_CPU microcode 0B00002A, and whether installing this BIOS update would allow or not to run my CPU at an OC speed.

Could someone help? Thanks in advance

I'm having the same issue as @Prizm with a Samsung EVO 970 Plus (250GB) on an Azrock Z390 Extreme4 MB. It's benching in the 11th percentile. The benchmarks look like what you would get if the drive was plugged into a PCIe 2.0 slot instead of 3.0. The board and drive are both on the latest BIOS/Firmware.

Hi there,
i've tried to install some "newer" Realtek Drivers then in the Download Page.

As i know the Download Page for my MB is NOT UpToDate at all i've tried the Driver from Z370 Extreme4 -> almost the same Board?!
And... no wonder -> it does not work!

I've also tired many other Drivers from many Board with the Realtek ALC1220 Audio Codec but no success at all...

Also the APPShop and the F-Stream Tuning utility are not UpToDate and the F-Stream Tuning utility is still bugged there...
I know i need to use the A-Tuning(v3.0.251) and it works but WHY this is not Updated at the Driver Page!?

And also almost all other Drivers are OutDate but there are working Drivers out there!
Go Fifi find the Bone?!

Ah btw...
The Sound Blaster Cinema 3 utility ver:1.00.12 does also not work with the Driver Realtek high definition audio driver ver:8454 at the Download Page!

So...
Where to get the Last AND Working Driver for my Board -> Fatal1ty Z370 Gaming K6?

The drivers on the DL page are customized to work with each board
As far as F-Stream is concerned use the bios customization to get your fan profile

PCIe riser cards are just that: a card that fits the PCIe slot and has a slot higher or at 90 degrees from the original. The only x16 to dual riser I have seen is for servers, all others do not have two "raised" PCIe slots. The cards for servers are shown here:
http://www.acmemicro.com/Products/Peripherals/Riser-Cards
Standard PCIe riser cards are like this:
https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Express-Adapter-Servers-PEX16RISER/dp/B002M1DHJG

If you need more slots then you should have considered that before buying an ITX motherboard...........

Windows 10 is supposed to have all the USB3 drivers included though you may need to check Windows Update for a better/newer one. There are no downloadable USB3 drivers for Win 10 other than through Microsoft as Intel dropped supplying them. Have you checked your Control Panel > Device Manager to see if there are any Yellow Flags ? If so please report back what they are. Also if not using the back panel USB ports but ones from a computer case front, they may not be truly USB3 compliant.

The best newest is Realtek Driver 6.0.1.8648 however it is not "the newest" and is not fine tuned for your exact board but can be downloaded and tried. Just Google it.

This is a different issue to that, a few USB devices were playing up, granted they were all mass storage devices.
The known bug is with a Realtek card reader.
