Regarding the mentioned stepping P0 and R0 of the new processor, what implies different needs of a bios at asrock and elsewhere, check this list:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Core_i5_microprocessors#Coffee_Lake_microarchitecture_(8th/9th_generation)
The stepping is added in the parenthesis and the sSpec label (eg. SRELU for the i5-9600k P0) is printed on top of every processor, so easy to identify.

Intel Motherboards : Fatal1ty H370 Performance HD audio driver

Realtek's HD audio driver on the Fatal1ty H370 Performance page appears to be UAD, but it's not specified as such. I like to keep upgraded to a Realtek driver later than 8397 provided there. My motherboard has Creative Sound Blaster Cinema 5, so I need a driver that supports that. But the latest UAD Creative driver won't install. I have to use an earlier HDA Creative driver (FF10) instead. However, it appears HDA may be in danger of losing active updating. Can anybody confirm whether UAD is supported on my motherboard and, if so, which version I should use to support Cinema 5?

I searched every tab in the advanced bios, checked the online manual and "IGPU Multi-Monitor" was listed in the features. Any help?"

Hello,

in the meantime I got a BIOS Version 3.40A which should have bifurcation for slot 2 and 3. But after testing it I must say it does not work with ASRock Quad ultra M2 card. I really wonder what the BIOS guys use for testing such features. Can't be ASRocks own cards though ...

Hi I bought this b360 pro4 motherboard (2hand) and I tried my old skylake CPU kinda expecting it didn't work, it started up with strangely kinda gas handle sound and shut down and repeat ok no prob. so I waited for an i5 8400 coffeelake CPU that should have worked,... same behavior well maybe it was the RAM, so I waited a bit more and got RAMstick that should have worked. but the same behavior. It started 2 fan vrooms" and shuts down, repeating this over and over. I kinda expect that for a first test boot outside the case. (to set the bios) but no image no nothing, I have nothing attached yet just CPU MEM and power. HDMI monitor(tried both internal and extern GPU) keyb and mouse (wired) also tried dif power supply I have no idea what the previous owner did with it, so that is no source of help. this is the behavior I get when RAM is installed, I get the 2 fan vrooms shutdown no image repeating over and over. If I take out the RAM it powers on and keeps running. switching slots same vrooms nothing on monitor off course, so I must assume the bios is bricked. the skylake CPU is good so is the ram (when I put it back in my other pc it works fine)the coffeelake was a sealed in the box one so that should be oke. since I got this board 2hand there is no warranty I guess but what can I do to unbrick this BIOS? replace the chip? flash it with a tool? any info would help. I ordered a new motherboard (another brand) so that is not a problem but I was hoping to breathe some life back into this one. just for the experience, how ???

Follow the steps here to fully clear CMOS:
http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=630&title=how-to-clear-cmos-via-battery-removal

Installing the incompatible CPU may have caused corruption in the UEFI settings. If so, a full CMOS clear should do the trick. If that fails, then you may have purchased a damaged/dead board.

LGA 1151 - Intel I7 4.2GHz.

I built this about 18 months ago and it has been working fine. I turned it off last night and this morning it won't boot. Not sure what could have happened in 7 hours - it wasn't moved or anything.

When the PSU is switched on, the CPU fan and case fan both turn on. The lights on the motherboard turn on. When I press the power on button on the case, there is a soft "whump" noise and then three areas of the motherboard slowly pulse blue. I can't get into the BIOS - it doesn't go into POST.

I disconnected all drives except for the boot drive. I removed and re-seated the RAM (G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 2 x 8GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400).

Hi, I want to know if you have a tool to add a personalized boot logo? I think it would be a great add-on for us who build our own computers.

I did what you suggested, I am afraid this board is really dead in the meantime I got another board and everything fine, the CPU and MEM work fine in this new Mboard.not worth to restore it so gotta leave it at that probably cost more than replacement.

Hallo

I would like to ask. The ROM that you posted is the final ROM we can use to solve the problem? Can I flash it through the UEFI Bios Tool? After I Flash it should I make any changes to the Bios settings, so the board could detect the M.2 card? And then I could make a clean install of Windows 10?

Thank you!!!

That's what they answered me in the asrock support last year:

For Z370 Extreme4, there is no support for Device advanced settings.

Becuase the audio channel is used for melody LED (Aura LED)

As a result, this is not missing the feature, it is the specification.

Please understand.

Thank you!

I replied that it is very strange technical solution. Because very few people use melody LED, but everyone uses the audio outputs, and would like to have more settings. But they ignored me.

Besides, I noticed that if I do not use Realtek high definition audio driver proposed by ASRock and instead of it use default windows 10 generic driver, it is possible to separate front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously, this is the feature I needed and which is unavailable with ASRock driver. So there is no hardware restriction for it. But when I asked support about that they also ignored me.
