I think he might be meaning US availability and that link you gave was for some place in the UK. I would also like to know when they should be back in stock at Newegg as well as the Fatal1ty X370 professional gaming. If someone from Asrock can answer us that would be very nice.

Not sure, I tried the latest Realtek Driver and the one on ASRock Website for my mb.

The headset works (be it front or back panel), it's just the mic that doesn't, the PC recognises that a microphone has been plugged in, but it doesn't pick up any voices, just white noise. And both the headset and microphone work on other machines.

Yeah, I just have an HDMI set up. I didn't even know there was a speaker in that location honestly lol, cause the sound is definitely not coming from my TV or any other spot besides the case...it's coming straight from the case, and heck yeah man...I'm a yooper. Lol

I said in my first response that it might be the AURA LEDs that was flashing. Image may be NSFW.

LOL

Can you imagine if AURA was set to one of its other settings, with green, yellow, etc flashing or "breathing" as they call it?

In this case, that's not an error, it's a feature!

The Beep was the last concern I had out of boot and sleep, but apparently that is normal as well...although it is strange as I've never had a computer beep when it wakes or gets turned on.

A POST Ok single beep is normal from a cold boot or restart. That is an option in the UEFI/BIOS that can be enabled or disabled on most boards. ASRock sets it to disabled by default, the place that built the PC must have set it to enabled. But I will say that I never hear a beep when the board wakes from Sleep.

I wonder if Windows is configured to use Hibernate instead of Sleep on your PC.

What version of Windows do you have on that PC?

It does the same on mine with post beep enabled waking and entering sleep so who knows. Regardless it isn't an issue.

Interesting, again my Z270 GK6 does not beep when waking from Sleep, and I use Sleep quite a bit.

Let me throw this out there, I have AURA disabled.

I will tinker around with settings and see what's up before we shuffle this off to tech support. The only thing I find odd is the 30 error on the debug display, it stays there once the system wakes until you shut down/restart.

My system also won't stay asleep, it powers down then right back on again. That has something to do with my settings in the OS though, I couldn't be bothered to sort it out as I never use sleep anyway.

Win 10 64 pro.

Thanks.
Had the motherboard replaced, so it can't be the motherboard either. My cousin has the same case, same wiring and his works just fine.
In the UEFI settings all of the sound settings are either Auto or disable, tried every combination and nothing.
Guess, I'm gonna have to get an USB headset.
Thanks for all the help guys.

Problem Solved!!! I bought a 6850k processor and it works the 2 kits (4x4 Gskill 2400 and 4x8 Corsair 3000, 48gb ram!) together in quad channel. I sent the 5930k to RMA. Intel found the defect and released the submission.

Intel Motherboards : X99 and memory DDR4 16Gb module Samsung

Subject: X99 and memory DDR4 16Gb module Samsung

Hello

I'm planning to buy an X99 motherboard
Most likely X99 Taichi or maybe X99 Extreme4

I already have 2x DDR4 Samsung 16Gb 2133 M378A2K43BB1-CPB (non-ECC, UDIMM, 2Rx8)
http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/products/dram/pc-dram/ddr4-unbuffered-dimm/M378A2K43BB1?ia=2428

Specifically, this memory is not in QVL (both Taichi and Extreme4 or any Asrock X99), but since it's OEM memory, I still counted on less problem compatibility with motherboards.

However, I recently came across a message on forum from a person who did not start this memory on the X99 OC Formula, BIOS 3.0

Are there any happy users of X99 with this memory (M378A2K43BB1)?

Ok have some progress. Got my hands on a mobo speaker and additional RAM.

-With the new 2x8GB  f3-1866c11d-16grsl no POST.
-With no RAM, 3 long beeps, no POST.
-With spare RAM, POST and BIOS access.

Incompatible RAM?

RAM compatibility with can be a pain these days. You can try using the RAM that works and update your BIOS then test the new RAM again. If that doesn't work I would return the RAM and pick up a compatible kit.

If you check the QVL list of the G.SKILL memory specs in your first post, you won't find any ASRock products, or any J4205 processor PCs included:

http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-1866c11d-16grsl

None of the compatible PCs in the G.SKILL QVL list have a CPU/memory controller that is similar to the one in your board. So clearly that G.SKILL memory is not compatible.

With no memory in the board, it won't be able to POST and you get the three beep error. That is normal, you must have memory in the board or it won't work.

You found some memory that works, great! What kind is it?
