Subject: Booting Q1900 to Ubuntu multipl SATA drivres
Posted: 02 Jun 2016 at 9:22pm
I have a working Q1900 using Ubuntu on single SATA drive.
However, when I add another SATA formated but empty drive I get BIOS
"select boot device and restart ' type of message.
To fix that I have to use default BIOS setting.
It appears that I cannot properly select boot devices - the additional SATA drive always comes up as the only boot device and is disabled.
I have no option to select the correct ( bootable with Ubuntu) SAT A drive and enable it .
After install I did update the bios to the current one .
At this point I like to keep running Ubuntu 14. I'll update to the latest after I solve this bios problem.
Any constructive help will be appreciated.
