You say "front panel does not work". Do you mean the audio/sound connection on the front panel?

UEFI firmware does not mean there is no option to enable the front panel audio. I'm sure the option is there, and it is enabled by default. Something else is wrong.

What is the full model name or number of the PC case you use?

Did you connect all the cables from the front panel to the mother board? The cable from the front panel audio connectors, is it AC97 or HD Audio?
