I'm not OFFICIAL Tech Support.
Install Windows with the ECC installed as that's where I believe, 99.9%, that your issue arises. As you say, Windows is installing a non-ECC compatible HAL when you used the Corsair.
ie: I'm, again 99.9% , positive after an install you can't just simply swap between memory types.

![]() Next I swapped only the RAM to a pair of Samsung M393A2G40DB0-CPB - 2x16GB 2133MHz ECC un-buffered memory ............ The ASRock X99E-ITX bios isn't forwarding the right info to Window's HAL is the problem I think. |
