Subject: Z170 Extreme7+ Problems

I just purchased a Z170 Extreme7+ and am trying to get it to work. I've installed the CPU, 32Gb of memory an SSD drive in an Antec case. I've attached a known working usb mouse and known working ps2 keyboard. I've connected a monitor through a DVI-D cable.

I just purchased a Z170 Extreme7+ and am trying to get it to work. I've installed the CPU, 32Gb of memory an SSD drive in an Antec case. I've attached a known working usb mouse and known working ps2 keyboard. I've connected a monitor through a DVI-D cable.
When I first fired up the board it would show the screen to get into the bios which suggests pressing the f2 or del key. But that didn't work for me because the keyboard and mouse never worked. I could press f2 or del all I wanted and nothing would happen. Then it would go and try to launch the OS (Win7) but found new hardware and suggested a repair. Of course I couldn't click on the repair button because the mouse and keyboard didn't work. Then I would restart it and the same thing would happen. Then, after a couple of times restarting it it wouldn't even show anything on the monitor while the keyboard and mouse have never worked on it.
So, here I am, wondering what to do next. Any ideas?
