I have the same board, and have never had the problems you are having with any video playback, even when using the Intel integrated graphics.
So the shop did work for you, but did not fix it. What
The same issue using the onboard graphics and the video card? The first thing I would do in that case is change the cable to the monitor.
The conflicting driver situation is strange, how did that happen? What drivers were in conflict?
What does the shop did "fresh installs" mean, of the video drivers for the Intel and GTX 970 graphics?
What version of Windows are you using, and did you install it new for you new board?
What is the exact model of memory you are using?
PSU power is not as important as PSU quality.
The others posting in your thread have asked many questions you have not answered, which is not helping yourself either.

![]() I tried both pcie slots and even took the card out and tried the onboard graphics.. still the same issue |
![]() I've tried both issue still persists.. the shop just got rid of drivers that were conflicting with each other and did fresh installs.. which wasn't the issue because it fixed nothing.. i was thinking maybe psu? but 850 should be plenty. |
