I do not think the 950 is overheating. I have also done the tests quickly after starting the computer, and that had no effect on the numbers.
There is a limit to which I will go to get this to work properly, I am more likely to send it back and exchange it for another 950, as I believe this one may be defective.
Yes, the temperature swing was during the benchmark test. I will try it again just to confirm.
The SATA port in question is empty.
