I hope someone can help, I'm losing the will to live!
I upgraded my PC this week. New motherboard Z170 Extreme4, new CPU i5 6600k and new RAM 2x8 GB DDR4 2666. I'm using an SSD from the old PC that had Windows 10 installed on it.
I can boot into BIOS without issue. Temperatures look good and both memory and the CUP are correctlty recognised. If I try to boot to the SSD it freezes once mayve 3 of the spinning circles appear. If I try to boot to USB stick with the Windows Recovery tool installed I get the same result - Windows logo, 2 or 3 circles and then it freezes.
The SSD was in a PC that did not have UEFI. I have re-downloaded the Windows 10 recovery tool a few times but I still can't get it to boot.
Can anyone help? I have a feeling that I'mnot doing something properly in the BIOS but it's all a bit new to me and I'm not sure what to change.
Thank you in advance!
