I am having an issue when trying to install Windows 10, and I receive a blue screen error WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR when it tries to load the RAID drivers as part of the Windows 10 Install process.
My system (all brand new components, just purchased):
AsRock Extreme 7+ Motherboard
Intel i7 6700k
32 GB GSKILL DDR4-3400 (F4-340016Q-32GTZ)
Samsung 950 Pro NVME Drives (2, configured in RAID 0, 64K Stripe Size)
Asus Strix GTX 1070
Corsair H115i cooler
The drives are seen in UEFI and I can successfully build the RAID 0 array there. It says the array is bootable in UEFI.
I have tried multiple RAID drivers, from the Driver CD, AsRock website, and Intel website (14.08), and I get the same blue screen error when trying to load the RAID drivers during Windows 10 install.
I have tried AsRock BIOS versions 2.10, 2.60, and 3.0 and still get the error. I have removed/reseated the 950 Pro drives, removed/reseated RAM, cleared CMOS. Still no joy.
One other strange thing, no matter how I try, I can't get the Intel RAID BIOS to come up using CTRL-I. Don't think I need it because I am using UEFI, but wanted to call it out.
Any ideas on what the problem might be?
Thanks in advance for your help
