Subject: Mutliple passwords for SSDs, make it single signon
Posted: 19 Jun 2016 at 3:03am
I am running an Asrock X99M Extreme4 mobo with a special bios from Asrock that allows me to set a 32 character ATA password on SSDs. I am then using Samsung 850 Pro SSDs which have 256 bit AES hardware encryption.
I am also running a dual boot Ubuntu/windows setup with separate SSDs for each OS & will be adding a 3rd SSD for my media that I will also set an ATA password to encrypt it.
I've searched the internet, but this is a very deep subject with not a lot of info persay. I will contact Asrock and see if they have any suggestions.
Thanks for the help.
